Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Baron Management Group (“Baron Management,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you visit baronmg.com (the “Site”), submit a form, apply for a rental, text or call us, or use our resident and owner services.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways.
- Information you provide. Your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, the type of visitor you are (owner, prospective tenant, current resident, vendor, or other), the property you are asking about, and the content of your message. If you apply for a rental or become a resident, our application and screening process also collects date of birth, government-issued ID, Social Security number, employment and income information, rental history, and emergency contacts.
- Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and general location inferred from your IP address. This is collected through standard server logs and cookies.
- Information from others. Tenant screening reports, credit and background check results, landlord references, and employment verifications obtained with your authorization as part of a rental application.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and route it to the right person on our team.
- To schedule showings, process rental applications, and screen applicants.
- To manage leases, collect rent, and coordinate maintenance.
- To send you service messages about your inquiry, application, tenancy, or property, by email, phone, or text message where you have agreed to be texted.
- To keep records, comply with the law, and resolve disputes.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to third parties for their own advertising.
Text messaging and mobile information
When you check the SMS consent box on one of our forms, or when you text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Baron Management at the mobile number you provided. Here is what that means.
- What we send. Replies to your inquiry, showing and appointment details, application status, maintenance updates, rent and account notices, and occasional information about available properties.
- Consent is optional. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of renting, applying, buying, or receiving any service from us. You can reach us by phone or email instead.
- Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies based on your activity with us. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for help. You can also call us at 574-307-7580 or email Tiffany@baronmg.com. Opting out of texts does not opt you out of email or phone contact about your account.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the exclusions in the section below apply to sharing text messaging originator opt-in data and consent: this information will not be shared with any third parties, except for the subcontractors and service providers who help us deliver the messages themselves.
When we share information
We share personal information only in these situations.
- Service providers. Companies that work on our behalf and are permitted to use the information only to provide their service to us. This includes our property management software, tenant screening providers, listing and showing platforms, email and text message delivery providers, our answering and support service, and the partner that receives and routes new inquiries submitted through our forms so nothing gets missed.
- Property owners. Information about applicants and residents shared with the owner of the property you are inquiring about or living in, as needed to manage that property.
- Contractors and vendors. The details a technician needs to complete a repair, such as your name, address, phone number, and a description of the issue.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect our rights, our residents, or the safety of any person.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this Policy.
Cookies and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep it working properly and to understand how visitors use it. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site behave. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal where your browser sends one.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, and afterward for as long as required by law, by our record-keeping obligations to property owners, or to resolve disputes. Application and screening records are retained in line with fair housing and lending record requirements.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted transmission of form submissions and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.
- Opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.
- Withdraw consent to a screening authorization, though this may mean we cannot process your application.
To make a request, email Tiffany@baronmg.com or call 574-307-7580. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Fair housing
Baron Management complies with all federal, state, and local fair housing laws. We do not use the information we collect to discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
